Braces Singapore Reviews

NUS Orthodontic Clinic Review | Cheap and Good Braces
…You can get your orthodontic treatment done by postgraduate orthodontic students (under supervision) at the NUS Post Graduate Orthodontic Clinic for a fixed cost of $2800, not including X-Rays and extractions. It’s by far the cheapest option.

Finding the right orthodontist
“I got recommendations for a couple of orthodontists from friends. First impressions really do count, even when on the phone. The first orthodontist office I called left me with the impression that they were doing me a favor and I would need to accommodate them. Needless to say, I didn’t call them back. The second orthodontist office I called was warm, friendly, and understood this was a big deal and not inexpensive, especially since I was looking at having three children go through braces. They answered all the questions I had and were very accommodating. We scheduled an appointment for each of my children to judge what treatment would be required. Each visit was very thorough. X-rays were taken and a plan of action was determined, including costs, both out-of-pocket and what our insurance company would cover. Plus, I was given detailed packets of information for each child that included pictures from the x-rays, timelines of when specific procedures should be completed, costs, and approximate durations. A booklet was included that explained how to care for braces from beginning to end. I felt confident that I had found the right orthodontist for my family, and by the end of our visits came away with a solid plan of what was going to be required.”

Dental On The Bay Review
Dental On The Bay was the Invisalign clinic I found all those year ago. I paid a total of $8000 for my full treatment. As you’d expect, they’re very experienced with Invisalign, being one of the first few Invisalign providers in Singapore.
Dr Eugene Chan was the orthodontist who treated me then. A key opinion leader in the field of Invisible Aligner Systems, he was the very first Invisalign Platinum Elite Provider in Asia. He’s also highly regarded within the dentistry and orthodontics circles.

The Orthodontic Clinic Review

Budding orthodontists use their annual leave just to shadow Dr Geraldine Lee. Although she depreciatingly attributes it to her chatty nature preventing them from falling asleep, it’s clearly testament to her skills and knowledge that they use their free time to learn from her.
Dr Lee serves as President of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore), and is well known amongst dentists as clinical lecturer to the NUS Postgraduate Orthodontic programme. She has a reputation for treating high profile clients within the media industries – Celebs are drawn to her meticulous and careful treatment planning, as well as her charismatic and friendly nature.

TP Dental Surgeons Review

As a doctor myself, I’m most impressed that TP Dental somehow manages to house 25 dentists, a large amount of high tech equipment and laboratory under the same roof.
There’s a clear advantage to having such a large team based on-site for your Invisalign treatment – From scheduling follow-up treatment at your convenience, to rapid cross referrals during the course of your Invisalign treatment (eg. with X-Rays, teeth whitening, wisdom tooth extraction) – everything can be instantly arranged for at TP Dental. This saves you precious time, and shortens the whole Invisalign treatment process.

Ko Djeng Dental Centre Review

This clinic serves a predominantly Japanese clientele, which means that all the staff here are able to speak Japanese and English.
The service staff at Ko Djeng Dental Centre are well known for their impeccable service standards, which is no surprise as they are mostly Japanese.

RCOLL Dental Clinic Review

RCOLL Dental Clinic has been established since 1961, and pride themselves in building long-standing relationships with all their patients. Between the 4 dentists who work at the clinic, they have over 50 years of clinical expertise and specialist knowledge in dentistry.
The orthodontist who performs Invisalign treatment, Dr Johanna Choo, tutors the postgraduates at both NUS and the National Dental Centre. She’s also on the committee which deals with Specialist Accreditation of Orthodontists in Singapore

10 Best Top Dental Clinics for Braces in Singapore

Below, we have compiled a list of popular dental clinics that provide braces in Singapore.

The compilation of this list was based on Google search results (incognito mode) and information available on forums, blogs and social media. Do take note that the Google search results may vary based on Google’s search algorithm.

While you may wish to go through all your Google search results, you're just going to be either overwhelmed or confused by the information that you have consumed.

You will get a list of search results and the top ones are advertisements. Bear in mind that the clinic's high ranking on page 1 and visible advertisements on Google may not be truly reflective of the dental surgeon's skills, experience and also how 'safe' is the surgeon. The dental clinic's ranking and visibility depends on their Google Adwords advertising, Google's search engine algorithms and also can be manipulated by some SEO (search engine optimisation) professionals and tools.

The organic search results will also have a mixture of blogs, directories and private clinics etc. However, some directories only provide a listing of private clinics without the public ones and some are providing too long a list that you may find it too difficult to even start.

Therefore, we have shortlisted a list of clinics so that it’s easier for you to come to an actionable decision.

Here is the list.
